Well, welcome PR it’s so nice to meet you. You are looking lovely at a svelt 285#’s!!
Ok, so I cheated and threw a heavy rep of one in today. But, I did 5 full sets and finished the last one at 235….so I figured I’d give it a go. We couldn’t allow Nathan to be the only Elvis impersonator!
Also, I noticed the last time we did this WOD was October 13, I was complaining about 235#’s then and mentioned that I could only get 4 reps in. Baby Steps……
Well, to bad I was voted in for the absolute worst form in the gym today. Managed to get 365 up three times and decided that my form was so bad that I needed to drop back down until I can properly execute the lift. Again, thanks to Stewart, Tall Mike, and Nathan for making sure I did not kill myself.
Was a good day today. Did 365-385(Bad Form)-365-375-385. Some impressive efforts today. Also congrats to the fellas who knocked out their first Muscle ups today. I believe it was John and Sean. Can’t wait for tommorrow hopefully some O lifting to exercise my new shoes.

My last max deadlift was 145#.

I totally took it easy for 7 1/2 weeks!
Great day today! Set a PR with 205# on the last set.
Had a fair effort in the gym today…can’t remember what I got the last time I did this, but, here are today’s results:
375 – 375 – 385 – 405 – 405
Would’ve liked to go higher, but, I think my form would’ve been absolutely horrible.
For a finisher decided to knock out Overhead Squats: 5 sets of 10 reps at 135 followed by 1000m on the Concept2…I think the finisher was the highlight!
