    Well, I made it to Iraq. The gym at he camp here is fairly big and full of the usual army gym stuff. To my surprise, they actually have some Crossfit equipment – though not much. There is one set of bumper plates, some kettlebells, and two old, beat-up rowers. But there is a severe shortage of dip and pullup bars. The only pullup bars are attached to other machines and mostly occupied by people doing their one set-per-hour routines. Anyway, I already miss working out with CFR; we’re lucky to have what we have at Leavenworth.

    oh btw, Gruber did not have regular hours this morning…. Thank goodness I rolled over and *SMASHED* the snooze button this morning! Anywho, I did thirty or so power snatches before I decided Im not qualified to “feel” if I’m doing them right.

    Tim, I concur with Tamika’s comments (well not the snooze button ones ;) ) But, the fitting things in a box – for sure! I mean, maybe some PVC pipe?? I doubt that a concept two rower would fold up though……

I guess some equipment is better than no equipment but to echo what Tamika and Andrea have both said just let us know what you need and email the address and I will make sure you get it.     tamika…tamika…that name sounds familiar…

    didn’t we used to have a girl named tamika who worked out in the mornings with us a long, LONG time ago? worked at the dental clinic, right? hopefully this NEW tamika lasts longer than she did! :-)

    well, folks…one week of the best family vacation anyone should be allowed to have is complete…one week to go… we’ll get back to kansas next thurs night…and…if so, i’ll be there friday morning to show off my new (and improved) gut i’ve developed courtesy of my new disney diet…sort of like the zone, but you worry less about protein and carbs, more about funnel cakes (with whipped cream and strawberries!) and chicken strips!
